First Kiss

CLICK THE LIPS when the play button pops up. For some reason I couldn't make it work on the text.

Now that that's been clarified....

I've been working on this for about 10 days now. I downloaded the Flash 8 trial and started tinkering around (you can find the original little bits in my scraps). This was my first fully original one.

Umm....lessee...my watchers will know these two because...well, I basically took a picture I drew about two weeks ago and animated it. XDDDDDDD As their information is frivolous, and I wouldn't mind a few extra page views (XDDDDD) I'll just let you all seek out that picture if you'd like to know more about them.

I apologize for the ginormous file size. I am a n00b and I just sort of was like, "Wheeeeeeeeeee! Drawing pretty pictures at normal size!" I don't know what I was thinking. It's a little choppy in some places I think, and the movement's a little stiff, but it's not bad for my first animation I don't think. At the beginning when he's talking, yeah, that's all nonsense. XDDDDDD At the end though, he actually says a word...see if you can get it. Also, the lighting is sort of wonky, try to ignore the fact that the girl's highlights don't move with her head. XDDDDD

Ummmmm....I actually bumped the frame speed up to 22, hoping it would smooth it out. I'm not sure if it worked. Ooh, and pay attention to her earring, if you watch it more than once, lol. I LOVE how that came out...

Oi vay, I forgot a replay button. There are NO decent tutorials out there on how to do all this stuff! Sheesh! Anyway, again, click the lips at the end if you want it to replay, I couldn't get any text to stay put for some stupid reason, so I gave up.

If I think of anything else, I'll add it. Otherwise, any comments, criticism, hints, anything really, are welcome. I really enjoyed this, and it would be fun to do something with more of a plot. XDDDDD

Edit: Whoas! I thought this file was huge and would take forever to download, but apparently not! O_o Either way, click by your own discretion if you have a slow system.

Edit2: Okay, at the suggestion of =K-ny I upped the framerate to 30 so, uh...yeah. XD And then thanks to ~pocketCRUMB who helped me to get the text on the replay screen to work. You still can't click it, but you can click in various spots around it (O_o) and on the lips of course. I dunno. Whatever, it works. xD

Edit3 Oh, yes, I should mention, if you're not getting a flash that's fully colored and lined and everything like the preview, then you've got the wrong version of flash and you're not seeing it fully completed. ^_^ Please go download Flash 8 from [link] Thanks!
